Gardening Workshops

We offer hands on gardening workshops on a variety of subjects…

FOR 2008 WE WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING GARDENING WORKSHOPS:

January19 Getting started in the greenhouse
Choosing varieties, ordering seeds and supplies, sowing first crop in the first gardening workshop of the year.

February 16 Landscape Pruning  This will be a hands on  outdoors gardening workshop covering winter pruning of woody shrubs and trees, including apples and grapes

*It was a little chilly...but we had fun.

March 22 Growing the greenhouse bedding plant crop Seeding and transplanting a variety of herbs, flowers and veggies in this greenhouse gardening workshop

April 20 Planting the early vegetable garden
Let's get down and dirty in the garden in this gardening workshop

Learn how to save your seeds from a wide variety of herbs, veggies, annuals perennials and wildflowers

November 15 Build a Labyrinth
Learn how to build a labyrinth in your own space... whatever size it is. Join us for ur most unique gardening workshop


All workshops are held at the farm on Saturdays from 10 AM till 4 PM. Cost is $45 per person and will include soup and sandwich lunch, handouts to take home along with some appropriate seeds, plants or produce from the workshop. These are hands-on events that will be held in and outdoors, so remember... there is no bad weather, only wrong clothing!party.jpg
