We've found that all sorts of folks are interested in seeing what life is like on the farm...especially the organic farm. We offer you the opportunity to watch or participate in any of the activities going on at the time of your visit...like feeding the animals,  milking the cow, gathering the eggs, collecting the honey, shearing the sheep, grooming the horses, transplanting in the greenhouse, planting the garden, building a barn...There is lots to do and lots to see and learn on our farm. Agritourism is a great educational opportunity. We welcome you and your family and friends ...but be sure and make arrangements in advance by calling or emailing us. We try to be available on Saturdays from 10-4. We generally charge $5.00/person. You'll find the info you need including directions on our Location and Direction page.We are members of the NC Agritourism Network Association. We can help you find all sorts of neat things to do and  places to visit in our neck of the woods while you're here. Yancey County is the Gateway to Mt. Mitchell and we are not too far from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Burnsville is a sweet little town and there are lots of arts and crafts people around.
