Minor Breed Animals
We raise minor breed animals on the farm for the same reason we grow heirloom apples and tomatoes. We think they are more appropriate for the small farm and we also want to help save those genes. We have minor breed animals for sale throughout the year. Email or call if you are interested.

| We have minor breed Miniature Jersey Cows for milk and meat. They are the originals from the Isle of Jersey before they got bred into behemoths for Americans. They are about half the size of their better known relatives, and they take half the pasture and give half the milk (which is still plenty). | We have minor breed Cotswold and Shetland Sheep. Their wool is just fabulous. |

We have a dozen different breeds of laying hens for those incredible free range eggs...guineas...and minor breed Royal Palm and Red BourbonTurkeys... |
